(CONVERSATIONS) A native New Englander, Jamie Morse has made Cleveland his home most of his adult life. A parent of two HB alums (Julia ’99 and Betsy ’03), Morse has been teaching at HB since 1983. He is the Upper School’s Visual Arts Department Chair and Art, Art History and Photography Teacher, and he was previously was Upper School Dean of Students from 1996 through 2009. Invitation to Originality: Find Your Voice at the Young Writers and Artists Festival

The William McKinley and Jessie M. Osborne Writing Center at Hathaway Brown has a central goal: to help girls find their voices. Once a year, the Center presents the Young Writers and Artists Festival, an immersive workshop open to Cleveland-area high school girls. Back to School: Highlights from Convocation 2015

(Video) On Wednesday, Hathaway Brown School welcomed its 2015-2016 Upper School students to the new school year! Serving as the counterpoint to Commencement, Convocation is a long-standing tradition at HB where parents and faculty “clap in” the Upper School students on their first day of the new school year. Led by a bag piper, each grade level marched together behind bright Legacy Day flags of their corresponding class colors.
