Bravuras win first place at Music in the Parks

A select group of HB Singers traveled to Sandusky to compete in the Music in the Parks Festival followed by a day of fun at Cedar Point this past weekend.

The students won first place in their division with a Superior rating!
One of our judges was Dr. Lisa Wong of the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus who said:
“Lovely sound – very uniform!” Our other judge, Dr. Steve Hodge from University of Toledo remarked: “Super.  Sensitive.  Quite moving.  Well designed – a beautiful mature sound.”
In addition, Emma Picht won overall best student accompanist for her violin solo!
